About the Authors
The founder of the True Learning Centre, Glenn Capelli, BA, Dip.Ed., MACE, CSP, Churchill Fellow, is an international keynote speaker, working worldwide with corporations, educators, students, parents, and community groups. He is the writer and presenter of the award winning cable television series ‘Born To Learn’, which at its peak aired weekly to twenty-six million households in the USA. He is the co-author of ‘Maximizing Your Learning Potential - a Handbook for Lifelong Learners’, the writer of over fifty recorded songs, and presents a regular radio program on ABC Radio Australia. Glenn is a Winston Churchill Fellowship Awardee for his services to education, a member of MENSA and the International Juggler’s Association. His unique presenting skills and ability to apply a diversity of teaching methodologies have made him an internationally renowned speaker in constant demand worldwide. His message is one of being a learner and thinker in today’s fast paced, changing world, through the application of creative thinking skills, humour, health, enthusiasm and attitude.
Sean Brealey B.Ed, Post Graduate Diploma in Ed. Admin, M.Ed, J.P. has over twenty years experience working in education as a teacher, deputy principal and principal for the Education Department of Western Australia. He has taught all years from Kindergarten to Year 10 in a variety of locations including outback Meekatharra WA and inner city schools. He has also held advisory positions in science education. Sean’s current research focus is based on the ethics and influence of great leaders and learners including Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jnr, the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, David Suzuki and Thomas Alva Edison. His thesis endeavours to draw the ethics of great leaders and learners together to support educators in their quest to develop more caring and compassionate learning environments.
